Volunteer Gardener
As a Volunteer Gardener with The Power of Resilience CIC, you’ll help maintain and develop our community garden spaces. Tasks include planting, weeding, watering, composting, and creating welcoming green areas for local residents. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn, get involved, and enjoy working outdoors as part of a friendly, supportive team. This role helps improve wellbeing, promotes sustainability, and strengthens community connections.

Volunteer Donation Collector
At The Power of Resilience CIC we aim to reduce food and landfill waste while also helping individuals facing adverse circumstances.
We do this by adding fresh food, basic dry foods, and toiletries to a community pantry located in Thompson Cross on a daily basis.
We collect a significant amount of these items from local companies and other groups. We are looking for people who can spare a few hours a week, or a couple of hours occasionally, to join our volunteer team to collect donations and add them to the pantry. You will be required to use your own vehicle.
