Our Executive Director and Founder Julie Mallinson of The Power of Resilience CIC was proud to serve as a Local Exchange Ambassador, helping bring The Den – a unique in-the-round mobile space – to Stalybridge Civic Hall in Tameside in May 2025.
As part of a passionate team of local residents and partner organisations, she had a key role in curating The Den Festival, a month-long celebration of community, culture, and creativity. Through this work, she engaged local people in meaningful conversations about what matters most to them — shaping a festival that reflected the true spirit and diversity of Tameside.
This initiative built on six years of collaboration, and Tameside was excited to continue championing local voices, sharing stories, and creating joyful, inclusive cultural experiences for everyone.
